I'm so sorry Frank but you lost me. The first book was incredible. The second was interesting. This one lost me. I will try again in the future.

It was a good book, I just found something more interesting at the time and now it's been too long for me to just hop back in.

This book came to me at a time that I deeply needed it.
The main character has a day from hell and struggling with mental health she decides she no longer wants to live. The rest of the story follows her as she finds herself in The Midnight Library, a place between life and death.
She battles with regrets, past mistakes, and facing who she truly is and what it is she wants. And when it all comes down to it, maybe what we need isn't to change these things but to accept them for what they are.

I endlessly love Niel Gaimens work and this one was definitely not a disappointment.
A quick and sweet fairy tale where a seemingly plain young man embarks on a fantastical journey through the magical Fae Lands.
Self-discovery and what is one's true purpose are major themes of the book.

I don’t know exactly what it was. This book was good. I like the story I like the message. But that’s it. The message. It’s so good and the world that was built is good. But it’s so so on the nose. Times in the story the protagonist has thoughts about the situation that I feel left little for me to conclude or realize. I felt like everything was too explained to me.
I will try to read it again in the future I think.
