Artificial Wisdom by Thomas R. Weaver

I consumed this book using the immersion reading method, using the ebook and the audiobook. This is my favourite why to consume a thriller especially a techno-thriller. I loved the setting of this and the plot line which Weaver has set up and the characters that he has blended in page count. I was invested in this book before I had even opened it as it had been recommended to me by so many people that the hype didn't justify it in a good way. Everyone needs to read this.

This was an interesting concept for a story. I enjoyed being in Hanna's perspective and living and seeing through her eyes as she meets 'The Group'. It has a very strong underlying theme of miscommunication and mis-conception about who we are and what we show the world about ourselves. We watch as the group becomes close and then implodes to the point of fracture. These were very interesting characters and I loved watching them come alive on the page. This was a very interesting setting choice however it was definitely the right one for these characters to exist in.

I listen to this audiobook so fast and ate this up as I have definitely began to read more and more thrillers. I loved that this was a multi-perspective and the first chapter was really the end of the story and then we rewind in time to relive the events that lead up to the tragic end. Having this narrated by different voices helps to give ambiance to the narration to the thriller and makes me feel the atmosphere of the story which actually helped me buy into the characters and the story.

I love this series, characters and plot lines. Thank you for writing more of this story and introducing us to more of the characters in this universe. We followed Anastasia and her warren as they build their forces against the golden wolves. The antics certainly picked up with the actions and we saw the characters of the animals develop ... not me rushing to see if I can fit in the third book in the series

this took me so long to get into that it took me nearly a month to read. I loved the characters however was not as invested in the plot lines as I initially thought i would be as I love Moon Goddess stories. I am so annoyed with myself that I didn't enjoy this however I think this is a me issue not a book issue.

This was a twisty story which had me gripped from page one and at points I didn't know what was going on. The setting for this in a French castle was amazing and at points could even see what it looked like in my mind's eye. The setting, plot and characters were all well developed and grew as the story went on. I think I need to go and read other works by this author. I loved how this was three storylines all woven together to give us a crescendo at the end and having the chapters from the investigators prospective helped with the suspense of the novel.

This was so fast paced and keep me swiping through the pages on my kindle, I couldn't believe how fast I consumed this book. Louise Sharland wrote an amazing story with great plot lines and also deep characters which made this one of my favourite thrillers on 2024. Being a fantasy reader it takes a great author to be able to write a thriller as fast as I read a fantasy novel. I can not wait to see what comes next and I hope that Louise gives us more from Grace, Jodie and the group of characters surrounding them.

This is a very emotional coming of age story for Mina and Oliver. They both have had very different backgrounds which has left them with their own demons in their past which plague their decisions and actions when they find that they can not avoid being drawn to each other. To be able to move forward with their potential relationship they need to be able to put some of these things to bed. I loved the writing style which the author has used and want to thank her for treating the subject of child abuse in such a way that allowed me to relate to the characters but not have my own past triggered.

I loved this story and the concept that the author has came up with when she writes her novels - I can not wait to read more from her.

The author had me spinning through this story with the mystery of the murderer and also Annabel's story line. It took me a hot minute to work out all of the 2 plot lines linked in together and that i needed to work out one before I could work out the other one. I did not expect the final twist but boy was it satisfying to work that out with Annabel. I loved all of the characters and how they grow with each other and develop.

I loved this heart-rending and emotional account of survival in World War 2 France. We follow Elisabeth and how she helps to save individuals from occupied territories and getting them to the free countries. The author had me going through all emotions - had me sitting hunched over with tears in my eyes one minute and the next minute I was chuckling along with the characters. I loved how the world was explained and immersed the reader into the experiences of the time. The characters develop and we can see the arcs that they go through to where they are at at the end of the story. I want more of Elisabeth's story.
