Definitely enjoyed the characters and their development with anxiety and PTSD, it was definitely relatable. There parts and conversations that just felt rushed and unrealistic but it was still cute and steamy

I absolutely loved this  story, it was heartbreaking but empowering as it touched very hardcore topics. It didn't get a full 5 from me because some of the language seemed too modern for me and I wouldn't expect the characters to speak like that. Still such a powerful read! Highly recommend

I am not knowledgeable in DID nor do I know anyone personally who lives with this, so I can only speak from a novice point of view and say that Alyssa made this easy to understand and follow along. I feel it was thoroughly written with research and compassion. The background of the alters was written out well and I felt a familiarity and affection towards them. Reading how each alter came to be was heartbreaking and powerful. The thriller side was still fun, I didn't see some parts coming. The atmosphere was spooky and all the additional characters definitely made this a great read. I commend Alyssa for being brave to venture into this subject of mental health and showing how much our brains are really willing to protect us from the evils of the world.
