This is one of my favorite tropes. I liked this one. Payson had really been through a lot. Her stepfather was abusing her, and it seemed like her family had all left her on her own. The only family member that had actually seemed to cared was her grandfather. I loved him! But she didn’t tell him everything.

When she finally gets back to life, she finds out her new volleyball coach is someone she knows. Someone who helped her, but didn’t know it. She’s in for the ride of her life. I’m not sure how the next book is going to go, but I felt Ash should have protected her. She is young and they are risking pregnancy when she’s not even in her senior year of high school. The ending!!! Yea I need to know what’s next.

I love this trope! The nanny and the dad fall in love, but this one had a twist! I loved Katie! I always fall for the kids. Maren fit perfectly into their lives. It truly made me smile to see how she and Katie got on. It was heartwarming to see this family come together. Maren & Tuck were also spicy spicy spicy! This story was not without heartbreak. Without the heartbreak you don’t get the good stuff! Believe me you want the good stuff! I will absolutely be reading more of this author’s books! I can’t wait!

This one night stand turns into 100% angst as Reid sets out to romance her. Via wants him, but feels the optics aren’t great. She is just divorced, and is trying to find her way. I loved how mature Reid is. He knew what he wanted. He had very clear goals for himself. I loved that she settled in to a group of friends. This town welcomed her, and I love how supportive they were. I can’t wait for more of this family!!!

This book is crazy! This generation is so much darker than the parents. War & Halen loved each other, but at times they hated one another also. I loved that they worked to add the girls to EKC. The boys though… had a hard time getting used to it. (That’s the understatement of the century.) The games they played with people, and sometimes with each other were sadistic.

I think what I loved the most was also being with the parents. They were trying to make the world equal for the girls. We see the threads from their books flow down to their children. We see new enemies pop up, but in all of it they were a family. No one was fighting alone. I can’t wait for more of these characters!

Loved it! Kennedy Ryan always manages to catch my attention especially when she writes about real world problems. I loved how she handled the boy’s autism, and while I hope to never have to navigate divorce or prison, those were handled beautifully too. Soledad has to pull her life together because of someone else’s actions. Her girls were hit with changes that would make any of us want to crawl into our beds and cover our heads.  Soledad took charge of her life, and I loved that she was focused on herself and the girls. I also loved when she decided that regardless of the optics she was gonna allow herself to have love too.

When she tells Hendrix & Yasmin about Judah in his spectacles… I burst out laughing. I loved that Aaron reached out to Soladad the first time they meet. I loved that Judah was focused on his boys, but he wanted passion and love too. The families coming together at the end was heartwarming in the best way.

“Your skin is summer night and your kiss is all I want.” I loved that Soladad’s mother’s words resonated so deeply. Don’t we all just want someone to love and kiss.

Wow!!! I loved this one! It was heartbreaking reading Jacob’s thoughts about himself. He was trying so hard to make up for his father’s wrongs. Catherine is falling in love with him, and trying so hard to figure out what she wants to do. The cliffhanger was shocking. I didn’t see that coming. I can’t wait to see where we go from here.

Wow! This book was heartbreaking. Alek & Everleigh met after a mistake. They were immediately plunged into darkness. A darkness so deep Alek almost didn’t come back from. I loved the moment they were reunited. As scared as she was, she also found a family. I loved this one!

This book is not for the faint of heart. I could feel Storee’s angst. She just wanted to make her way in the world. Locke just wanted Storee, but didn’t want her in his world. This is dark, but I fell in love these characters. I wanted more. I love the age gap romance.

I do believe the Morellis are my favorite family. They all have their own thing, but when push comes to shove they show up for one another. Lucian was funny in this book. He was always pushing them together.

Damon was so sure he knew what was best, and Sophia fought for herself. Unwilling to compromise what she knew she wanted. The final hurdle I didn’t see coming. That made me hold my breath. I loved this trilogy. I can’t wait for the next one!
