This book aimed for 18 year olds feels more like a boomer comic aimed for. Well. Boomers. Just alot of quotes about how kids hate their parents, parents hate their kids, and teenagers really like mobile phones and sex. Don't be put off by the 96 pages, this book is ACTUALLY tiny and takes legitimately five minutes, but honestly, I wouldn't waste my time with it.

Man. I really wanted to like this book, but jesus christ it's just so fucking boring. It just goes on and on and on, and maybe it's the point, the slow drawl to the inevitable but christ it's BORING. And for what— the blurb really summarises everything you need to know.

WOW. This book is so good like oh my god. I suggested this book as part of my Book Club who were looking to read something Christmassy over the holidays, although I had little knowledge of the story myself (probably shouldn't have recommended an adult book to a school club... oh well). I ordered the book from Amazon thinking I'd have all of Christmas break to read it, but it didn't show up until two days before I had to have read it and I honestly didn't think I'd get through it. But I absolutely FLEW through this whole thing and I loved it so much. Although it's advertised as a Christmas romcom, it's also this amazing story about a woman with an anxiety disorder who I really saw myself in. An amazing book that I'd read in two days all over again.
