16 stories, each no more than 10 pages long, written in beautiful lyrical prose. According to the author they’re all inspired by real life cases so don’t be surprised if you come across by one that sounds overly familiar

The sci-fi genre seems slightly under-explored in modern Arabic literature to me so this felt like a breath fresh of air to finally come across.  A lot of potential was there so I tried my best to like this more but alas…

 While I enjoyed the attempted exploration of the human psyche with the a wide array of characters, the plot seemed to drag on forever with endless banter and repetitive scenes that added almost nothing of value to the overall story. The whole thing could’ve been edited to be at least 100 pages less I believe.

Another book that fell victim to poor editing and proof reading *sigh*

I never really had a ‘paranormal romance’ phase as a teenager (I know, shocking) but I felt the gusts of nostalgic winds all the same. Have I missed out perhaps? If it was mostly stuff like Twilight I’m good, thank you

As with most anthologies out there in the wild, this was a mixed bag of treats. Mostly were varying degrees of delights, a few had been better off left in the dark trenches of wattapad (*cough* respectfully)
