Relatable to the point of discomfort. I love Emily Austin's writing style, and will pick up more from them.

I am glad I continued!! This was better than the first one IMO. I definitely liked the writing a bit better, and I appreciated the character development.

Ok hear me out - Peter Swanson's writing style does not work for me. But the plot and characters of this were just intriguing enough that now I have to read the second book.

Kate Alice Marshall really writes the perfect thrillers for me. The trope combos and writing style are exactly what I'm looking for in the genre. I didn't love this one quite as much as What Lies in the Woods, but I still ate it up.

Alexis Hall just does it for me. At least his Regency romances, I have yet to try a contemporary from him. This would certainly not work for everyone, but the humor hit for me.

This is a sapphic Christmas romance about chickens???? Please note that the chickens are not sapphic. I love Olivia Waite's writing, but this was too short for me to really get on board with the romance. I loved the ending, though.

My first Chloe Liese and definitely not my last. In a strange turn of events, the middle was my favorite part, with the pacing being a little off and the ending a tad cloying. However, the banter was peak and the neurodivergent rep was v relatable to me.

This was pretty good. I love Talia Hibbert's writing, and prickly heroine/cinnamon roll hero is one of my favorite tropes. I just didn't have enough time with the couple, I don't think.
