I liked the story up a lot up until about the last third or so. I’m not really a fan of the huge time lapses that have happened in this series so far and I genuinely hope they don’t continue. I’ll keep trying the series, but if it happens a third time, I’m calling it quits.

A fun and easy read for sure! The time jump was a little unbelievable. If it had been a shorter time frame, I might’ve believed it more, but it didn’t really take away from my enjoyment of the story overall. The last few chapters did feel rushed. It had some really funny moments that I loved!

I think I’m going with 3.5 on this one. I definitely enjoyed the book, but it wasn’t my favorite Elsie story. Loved the small town, Rosie’s sass & her connection with Cora. Didn’t love that Cora came out of nowhere and basically used Ford. Ford was fine, I guess. I didn’t particularly find him interesting as a character- he seemed to lack depth.

I liked this one overall! Definitely didn’t see Jaxon being a secret softie, but it totally worked. The backstories for both he and Lennon were great. I could’ve done without her ex continuing to show up and not get the hint that they were done. I loved how well the group integrated Lennon into the fold & continued to show up for Jaxon. Mittens was definitely the star of the show at several points and I loved it.

I think overall, I liked this one but I feel like both characters lacked a little bit of depth. Which was a let down, because both had some trauma that was brought up on page but it didn't seem to add much to how their relationship developed or it impacted them. Owen lost his dad in college and his POV talked a lot about how close he was with his family, but he never actually talked to them on page until the distillery opening. Delia had been in an imbalanced relationship with a professor during college and it obviously affected how she saw relationships in her adult life, but she fell for Owen pretty quickly regardless. The slow burn aspect worked for me and once they finally caved, they had great chemistry in the bedroom. I feel like this just wasn't my favorite.

Chelseas best work so far! I loved Avery and Reid from the start. They had incredible banter and chemistry together. Such an engaging and fun read!

I think I had higher hopes for this one, but it felt a little off. Lots of waffling between being super horny about one another and not wanting to really communicate about anything. The seeming lack of communication from Wilder drove me nuts. The age gap and brother's best friend were fine. The way Iris' family was handled, I didn't love. The deceased wife backstory was just fine- when the truth came out about their relationship, it didn't really surprise me I think the way it was intended to. Overall, not bad but definitely not my favorite.

Finally picked back up as far as enjoyment level! Larke & Ronan were more serious characters with heavier backstories that helped their relationship feel more developed to me. Basically insta-love, but I actually liked it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wren seemed to be the cutest little human ever and I loved her.
