I absolutely loved this book & it felt like the perfect way to end the series. I loved how much growth we got to experience with Vera and Mateo. Allie was such a gem and added some much needed lightness to the story when it felt like the weight of Vera’s past was getting too heavy. There’s not a single thing I didn’t love about this story. I need all these paperbacks so I can read them again and again.

I liked this Christmas romance! Lena and Gavin were really enjoyable characters. There were definitely several times where I got emotional throughout and I love when a book has that impact on me. I did get kind of annoyed with Lena doing the whole “but he’s like a brother, right?” thing- like I know it’s a brothers best friend, but he’s also been her friend for a decade too! Overall, it was enjoyable, fun, and perfect for the season.

I’m not even sure what to say here. This book was alllllllll over the place. I really couldn’t figure out what the plot was, the characters all seemed pretty surface level, and our villain wasn’t interesting & you couldn’t figure him out. Also, I really think the MCs name is so dumb. Was the author going for Princess Buttercup vibes a la The Princess Bride? Because if so, Bloss was not the way to go. 🤦🏻♀️ definitely won’t be continuing this series

This was a fun, lighthearted, sweet holiday romance. I saw a few reviews that I do agree with- Clara’s understanding of her sexuality happened VERY abruptly and came about only because someone assumed she was queer. Regardless, I enjoyed Clara and Evan as characters, they had great banter & communication, and their chemistry was excellent. Clara’s parents are gems and I adored them.

Literal perfection. Best friends to lovers with fake dating & incredible communication? Yes, please. Shawn and Lacey may just be my favorite couple Chelsea has written yet. Their banter is amazing and so damn funny. Their chemistry is out of this world and my god, the way he just ADORES her. 🥹 I’m obsessed with this book and I’ll be thinking about it for a long, long time.

It’s official. If Chloe writes it, I’m going to read and LOVE it! Her writing is so thoughtful, the characters are endearing, and watching their relationships unfold is a pure work of art. Kate and Christopher have always been enemies, but once they realize the hurt they’ve caused one another, they do the work to repair their relationship & admit their true feelings in the process. I love seeing the representation through Chloe’s characters- this story brings us ADHD and migraines (of which I am unfortunately, intimately familiar). This was perfect and I need more.

Second time reading and I loved it just as much as the first. Lara and Aren have SUCH good tension. Their conflict is so real and world changing- it never felt petty or insignificant. The portcullis scene is one of my all time favorites and I've thought about it over and over again since I read this the first time. This series is steamy without being super graphic about the spicey scenes (maybe like a 2/5 on the spice scale). I love Danielle's worldbuilding and the scenery she creates. Forever obsessed with this universe.

I really loved being back in the BriarU verse- seeing Hannah and Garrett again was so fun! It’s always interesting to see the next generation & this was a fun read overall. There were definitely parts that felt rushed & you could tell that there’s some more maturing for these characters but of course they’re in college so that’s to be expected. I didn’t love how abruptly the story ended or the off page surprise in the last quarter of the book. I will say though, I did really like Gigi and Ryder overall.

So fun to revisit these characters- I love this world so much! Honestly, Caleb and Mars’ chapters were the best part but I did like seeing Rachel, Jake, Tess, and Ryan again! Obsessed that Caleb is a secret Swiftie. He and Mars after 5 years of being married and they finallyyyyyyy figure it out that they’re each others person! So dang perfect 🥹

I really liked this book, but there were some things I didn’t love. The age gap didn’t bother me, the maturity gap did however. Beau is 13 years older than Bailey & sometimes still acted like he’s 22. Her brothers and the way that Chestnut Springs treats Bailey is the worst- those townies suck and needed to be told so. I’m glad she and Beau got out and started fresh somewhere without their reputations attached to them.
