Such wisdom is found in these pages. It would do the world leaders much good to read this and try to understand opposing viewpoints better.

You need endurance to make it through this one, but it’s worth it.
I like the complexities of George R.R. Martin’s world-building. He breaks down each house and every single person in those houses. He says how they died or what they did, even though they may never have a role in the story. This just gives us a glimpse into his imaginative mind.

It was very affirming and encouraging to know that I’m not alone. The only critique I have is that it felt a little short, but that is my opinion.

It was good enough to keep me engaged, however, I didn’t love it. Some of the characters were annoying and I couldn’t sympathize with them.

A really valuable read. It’s a short book, but the author presents everything in a simple, practical manner. There are some key lessons that I will definitely take away from reading this book!

What is not to love? It’s great to see two great spiritual leaders from different religions sharing in dialogue and life together. They share such wisdom and insight, that I think we can all learn a lot from their teaching. The book also includes a lot of practical exercises at the end.

This was a really good read. It’s a slow burn like the series, so don’t expect it to go fast. I wasn’t a fan of changing perspectives each chapter because I felt the momentum was lost at times, but I understand this is how he writes and it’s okay. I hope to read the rest of the series if possible. I feel quite accomplished after reading that massive book!

I think this book is underrated, looking at the other reviews and it’s overall rating. I will say, though, that the ending wasn’t as good as I think it could’ve been. I like how the author wrote about a character with ADHD.

Another very helpful book. I feel like his writing usually goes back to the basics of mindfulness. So I didn’t feel like it was always focused on the topic of love throughout. But that’s probably the point too. That we have to be fully present and aware to love well. Either way, his writings bring me peace.

This book is full of action and keeps you reading from chapter to chapter without stopping. I also like how the author writes everything from the same perspective instead of jumping around. The occasional letters throughout also provide mysteriousness to the plot.
I would’ve liked some things to have been cleared up in the end, but it was still a really good book. I hope to read much more from this author!
