This book had a really strong start! I loved the creepy imagery and the premise was fun. 

HOWEVER,
once we got into the tricker fantasy element I was still heavily invested but it lost a bit of steam for me.

Omg once this book took on multiple POVs this book just came to life! 

Here are the two points I actually cried sad and happy tears:
when the dog died and when Auggie got his award

Nothing here I didn’t know, but I am a 28 year old woman lol. 

I was pretty sheltered and naive as a kid, so this probably would have helped back then. I remember watching “Blue is the Warmest Color” since I was curious about w/w relationships, which this book pointed out, is not accurate lol.
