There is not a single reason this book needed to be this long. And yes, Zander’s is an ass. An ass who becomes less of an ass by the end of the book but not sure that makes up for how awful he is for most of the book

Easiest 5 star ever!!! I never expected this to be as deep as it was but the depression and anxiety rep, the grief, the ptsd rep. It was INCREDIBLE. And very beautiful kink rep as well. So well done!!!!

It did what it needed to do. Escapism into a super cute world and adorable characters.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
Story felt very disjointed. I liked the author breaking the fourth wall thing but the plot when we go back in time felt weirdly paced. Like one second we’re choking on a peanut and then suddenly everyone was dead….??? Very strange.

This book was really hard to follow for the first like 70%. Then things got a bit better and started coming together. But then I finished and realized I hated literally everyone and all I got out of it was “birds”. Not my fav.

Felt like a really watered down version of my favorite trope. I loved the male main character but everyone else was very surface level. Plus I really don’t know if high school is for me.

Took a while for me to get into the story but honestly this should be required reading. I can already tell this is going to be a classic. Timely and thought provoking.
