Finding it quite boring, sadly. Might pick up again in the future.

The beginning was very entertaining and interesting, however the middle began to become slow and I lost interest in continuing with the book.

I just wanted the plot to pick up and the romance to get pushed aside more. I’m usually not interested in romance, especially when there are a lot of questions that I want to be answered. So, I just stopped reading.

I’m not used to reading 2 POVs so it was complicated for me to follow. I also found the beginning a bit slow.

I honestally got bored during the first short story. I really did try to read it. I’m pretty sure it’s targeted towards children instead of teens, so it makes sense that I found it boring. But still.

The romance sub-plot isn’t for me. I’ve noticed that a lot with YA books. I just want to get to the plot and the mystery of the inheritance. I also felt that the main character got distracted by the love interest. And it made me pretty frustrated.
