I loved so many different parts to this. I absolutely recommend this as an audiobook though. I could see reading this being difficult considering Molly’s monologue is very very proper grammar, and it’s somewhat different from what we’re used to seeing in books these days. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but I believe Molly is an autistic woman. I don’t think I’ve read many books where we have a character like her. Throughout this book I felt very frustrated with some  characters because of how they acted towards Molly. Personally if I catch on to someone being different, I try to emphasize with them instead of being rude or thinking they’re dumb. So people making fun of her was definitely a turn off, although I think that was entirely the point. Overall I lived that Nita wrote Molly the way she did for especially considering this is a mystery. I absolutely loved the ending. Couldn’t recommend this more.

I read another retelling of Hades & Persephone and as much as I love the story, I’m not sure if it was the writing that lacked or the narrator. I can’t be sure. But I found myself skimming a lot and that was disappointing considering I love retellings.

I read this in two sittings. I couldn’t put this down. The writing was wonderful and easy to read. Honestly i might be the 2% that didn’t see the plot twist in chapter 44 coming, but god, I GASPED.

Honestly I had the same problem I had with the first two books, they are so long, there’s so much info dumping. I absolutely HATED the multiple POVs mid chapter. That sh!t was so confusing. It’s an alright way to wrap up the series but honestly I pray ACOTAR doesn’t fall flat like this.

Is it possible to love 30% of a book so much it’s a 4 star even though I skimmed the other 70%?
I got Holmes vibes from Bryce always playing detective, not sure if I love it or hate it.

BOY do I love this series so much. I started reading this because of B&A, but I absolutely love f&f so much more. the characters are so much more enjoyable than the ones in B&A. I always feel like a detective reading these books because I'm always trying to guess the twists.

I loved Cal so much in the previous books of this series, I can't stress enough how much more I loved him after this book. I loved seeing his problems and how he was held accountable for his bs.

I didn't particularly like the characters until like 80% of the book. I always have a hard time getting into SJM's characters but her writing is so easy to read that I don't realize I'm almost done reading the book when I finally start liking them. (still a Feyre hater ngl)
its not a quick read considering its a 800 page book, BUT the audiobook for this absolutely SLAPS. honestly thats probably the only reason this isn't a 3 star.

I want to finish this series just becuase I'm already at book #6. Sadly, the writing has finally caught up with me and I call quits. This book was published in 2020, there's no reason I should feel like I'm reading a 2010 Wattled fanfic.

wasn’t prepared to be hooked. Honestly, the writing style is very digestible. I read this in 25 hours. I typically read really slow and this one was just 😙🤌🏻
At first, I got a lot of vibes that this was going to be like YOU. And although it was kind of stalker-ish, I’m so glad I continued reading and finished the book. I think it’s easily my favorite of this year.
