i read this in one sitting and i can’t tell if i give it a 4.5 or a 5. annie ernaux’s writing has the eloquency of clarice lispector but the intriguingness of ottessa moshfegh and i loved it

i loved this. easy 5 stars. the characters were interesting, the plot was exciting, it pulled me right out of my reading slump. i’m not usually a fantasy reader but i will recommend this to everyone i meet
