This book was drastically better than Twisted Love for two reasons: a realistic plot and the absence of Alex Volkov. The first half of the book really exceeded my expectations, but then the story just kept dragging on and on despite the time skips. Had this book been like 200 pages shorter I would have rated it around 3.5 stars — if you like porn with absolutely no plot, then you should like the latter half of this book. It could have been closer to 4 stars if Rhys wasn't so possessive and aggressive. Hell, CAN'T I ENJOY CONSENSUAL DOMINANCE IN A SEXUAL CONTEXT WITHOUT THE MAN BEING VIOLENT IN NONSEXUAL SITUATIONS AS WELL?? That's extremely unsexy, anger issues do not turn me on. Also, I guessed the plot twist in the very beginning,
the one where Rhys is revealed to be of noble Eldorran descent and they get married. (but if Rhys is the brother of Bridget's cousin, doesn't it make Rhys and Bridget half-cousins??? ew.)

Kitty reminded me of Joe Goldberg in the way that I just could not stop rooting for her despite knowing what she did... Joe's story was better though, as he took care of the loose ends; this story didn't even acknowledge many of the mistakes I found Kitty doing
like the police never tracked people's phones etc.
Overall a funny story, and very lighthearted considering the topic.

ei ihan miun lempparikokoelma Valalta, eksotiikka turhaa mutta jos on pakko siitä kirjoittaa niin voisi edes luontevasti eikä tälleen päälleliimatun kiiltokuvamaisesti (ja käyttää siitä "eksoottisesta" miehestä muitakin vertauksia kuin aina eläintä...) On tässä kauniitakin kielikuvia, potentiaalia kyllä olisi mutta se ei ihan tässä kokoelmassa herää.

Well written and interesting, but many things were still explained on a level too high for us non-astrophysicists... it could be that as a lowly commoner I'm just too dumb for this stuff, but I've studied STEM subjects on a university level?

The book lived up to its name, the scientific snippets were short enough for people "in a hurry", but some more length would have made them more easily digestible.

Tykkään paljon Rauman proosasta, mutta jos haluaa jotain uutta, niin tää ei ole sitä. Vika siltä osin minussa, että luin hänen esikoisensa viimeisenä, mutta jos olisin aloittanut tästä, niin Hävityksen vaikutus olisi jäänyt vähäisemmäksi: tää oli osin kuin Hävityksen raakaversio, jotkut kohtauksetkin aivan identtisiä henkilöhahmojen nimiä lukuun ottamatta. Esikoisuuden huomaa, mutta teksti vaikutti myös hyvällä tavalla vapautuneemmalta, kun sen takana ei ole vastaavia paineita tai odotuksia. Ei siis missään nimessä huono teos, ja on tällä uniikkeja ansioitakin — silti siis 4 tähden arvoinen.
