For the first part of this book I was on the fence with whether I would like it. I ended up loving it. Tremblay has a writing style that creeps up on you. Teen slasher movie, screenplay style writing, and everything you'd expect from a slow burn Tremblay horror.

Felt slow to start and the end hit me like a truck. I loved her book Wrong Place Wrong Time, and I liked this one just as much. My head was SPINNING with that plot at the end 🫨 twas a good time

I enjoyed this overall. However, the audio had some editing issues that made me think I was losing it a couple times πŸ‘€ also, if you are going to talk about Pocahontas, know her real name (Amonute/Matoaka). It felt a little dry is some parts. I did love finding out that almost every major park was a burial ground beforehand 🀯 worth it overall

I was excited for the premise on this one. An online reality show gone wrong. Revenge plot πŸ‘€ it was a bit predictable though, and not very inventive. Still a fun time though for a weekend thriller.

I wish this had more of a solid plot line throughout. The premise was solid. It was very whimsical and interesting, just hard to stay interested since I felt it was missing a main focus. It felt more like a collection of short stories. It definitely has an audience. Cozy fantasy, low stakes, book lovers would be so into this.

This was a wild, and heartbreaking, story. The story of a man who lives alone in the woods by choice, happily, for roughly 25 years. This type of story really should remind us there are more ways to live, and more ways to experience life.

DEVOURED. Murderbot vibes 🀌🏻 Mal, an AI gets stranded on planet with humans in the middle of a war over the ability to upgrade themselves and gets over involved. Obsessed is an understatement. This was written just for me πŸ₯Ή

This was so intense. Hearing her story of how she started in this field, her career, experiences, and how it can shake you in so many ways (good and bad). It was often SO dark. Also very interesting. What a life to lead. WOW
