I'm reading Percy Jackson as an adult because it came out when I was a freshman in high school, and I was "too cool." 

Honestly, I'm upset at myself. As a Greek Mythology geek in middle/high school I would've eaten this up. 

It's just absolute fun, but Riordan has this way of making things fun, and then in the next sentence ripping your heart out? 

I really loved the Trio in this book, and I think Annabeth is cool as hell. I can't wait to start Sea of Monsters.
