Another great, musically inspired group of short stories! While I throughly enjoyed the 3rd in the series, Hotel California is my favorite by a long shot. About to start Thriller, so we will see if that changes!

Rock n’ Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution, Givin The Dog a Bone, Let Me Put My Love Into You, Shake a Leg,  and Back in Black were great. Each told a gripping mystery with a really unique twist on the song title. I had these “Ah-ha!” moments when I could connect the song title to the story. I really wanted to love You Shook Me All Night Long, which is the Jack Reacher short story, I just needed more Reacher!

Overall solid collection!

Officially adding the Joseph Spector locked room mysteries to my fav series list. I want a million of them.

I’m consistently amazed by the complexity of these stories. The only thing I could think about at work was getting back to these books. I can’t wait for more!

Another great Joseph Spector mystery! I’ve started with book #3 and I’m working my way backwards (I’m sorry), so I was surprised to see so much of it take place from Ibbs perspective! I still really enjoyed it though, Spector is becoming a favorite book character for me.

I love the complexity of these mysteries, everything is so throughly planned. Mead is also kind enough to label what pages the clues are on while Spector explains the mystery. The smallest hints are so perfectly fit in with the plot.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to finally read the first book!

I am so happy they are continuing this series! I love the little world that's been built in Peculiar Woods. Each character is so fun, I even found myself emotionally invested in a chair (his name is Boris!)

This series is without a doubt my favorite of all time. Whenever times are tough, I read this book. Flavia de Luce is such a wonderful character and you can't help but love her. The image Bradley paints of Buckshaw is beautiful. I am a fan for life.
