Very clear good vs evil wound into the narrative of David's often hard life with a cast of eccentric characters

This series is filled with that addicting, can't put down drama and it was nice to see it wrap up. I wish some of it ended differently, but it's a fun escape book.

Love Rapinoe so it was cool seeing more insight on her life and how she weaved in game details and how she grew as a person advocating with her platform

I really liked the concepts in this book. Some very thought provoking things that I'll chew on for a long while. However, didn't feel like it was that well written and the woo-wooness of it could make it a little bit off putting in suggesting it to the right people, but conceptually is in the vein of some really important things for humanity and the individual to sit with.

Really entertaining; had lots of tropes that felt obviously borrowed, but could not put it down and loved escaping into the dragon world

It took a bit into. The characters being quite depressing and a bit...boring maybe? But the philosophical ramblings and intertwining lives gave a lot to chew on mentally. There was a lot of critique without solution, complaining of the world and being satisfied in the complaining which kind of reminds me of my own mind maybe, so some of it positive in its' reflection, but also a bit of a drag.
