Couldn’t put this one down!
Absolutely intriguing concept. Some mild sexual moments but pretty tame for YA. A love story and dystopian thriller that doesn’t feel like our heroine must make a choice in a man to save herself...it doesn’t even feel like she has to save the world. Absolutely refreshing and I’m sprinting to the library to get the sequel.

I’m only angry it took me 7 years to find this book.
A thrilling read from start to finish...vivid pictures, funny dialogue and absolutely gripping plot lines.

I picked it up and couldn’t put it down. I laughed, I cried...I screamed in anger. Angie Thomas inspired some of the most visceral reactions I’ve ever felt reading a piece of fiction. This book is barely fiction. It’s important. I don’t doubt for a second it will go down as an important social classic next to books like To Kill a Mockingbird.
