RABBIT by Samantha Lane Murphy will stay haunting me. BASIL AND THE WILD by Rem Wigmore was my favourite story!!! Basil and Makarios!!! šŸ˜ā™„ļø The first perfect story in this collection.  And then LAST BIRD ISLAND by Nat Baker and WASHING THE PLAID by Juliet Marillier were really strong ending stories. You could make great novels out of each of the semi-magical worlds they created and live in them.

I hate the BMI!!! Everything I learn about it, especially in this book, only solidifies that feeling more!!!

THE FINAL INSTALMENT. This series came to me serendipitously through a twitter recommendation and lord there is nothing else like it. This is a love letter to food, impossible physics, and adventure. ā™„ļøšŸ„° AND LOOOOOOOL WHAT AN ENDING. It has high stakes, closure, and the renewal of the food truck industry. God. Well. This entire trilogy was a ride.

I picked this up because I ADORE Jenn St-Ongeā€™s horror style - I didnā€™t expect a touching story about an autistic girl trying to hold onto a friendship with her trans friend in the face of demons. The ā€œevilā€ in this indie MG book is especially evil because of Jenn St Ongeā€™s awesome art! I had a chill in my spine - even a 30 year old man. Iā€™d recommend it for fans of Stranger Things. A+

On a soft note, I have been reading this poetry collection on and off for almost a year now. The poem that shares the collectionā€™s name made me cry!

I LOVE that by the end of the book, the author has completely deconstructed and dressed down the entire genre of biography. While being intriguing and funny! A complex picture of Margaret and the world around her.

Fantastic book. I am so impressed by this Japanese-highschool-dance manga! Iā€™d recommend this series to anyone, the storytelling is endearing.
