Entertaining book for those with shorter attention spans, the book being split into four shorter chronological stories leading to Celaenas fate. Betrayal, love, fear, hope, dark, mysterious. This book has it all and a great start to the series.

Honestly underwhelming, wish there was a purpose for this book but it was more of a filler. Seeing as it’s a small book though it’s a read if you want to book and doesn’t impact the original trilogy.
