I am so happy I decided to pick this book up again because it honestly is one of my favorite thrillers! I especially loved Sophie and how real she felt. She’s a wonderful character whom I’d be excited to meet in real life! Also, the mystery itself got me again! I got it until right before it was revealed because I was just so hooked on it. So so so happy I chose this to try and get me out of my horrendous reading block.
I was never a fan of rereading, but now I understand that it’s an amazing experience to go through something you already know you enjoy and love.

This book honestly took me what seemed to be forever to finish! I was not engaged as much as I had expected to be, so I would avoid reading it all together. I only got through it cause I'm actually really excited for my next read and I was done with this book honestly. This seemed like a 'meh' book, in the aspect that it probably won't leave a mark in my memory cause it wasn't anything too special. I will say though, I enjoyed the change in fonts and how emotions could be read through the script, but aside from that.. this is a solid 3 stars from me.
[Edit]The more I think about this, the more I agree that this is actually 1.5 stars for me. It just didn’t leave anything for me to hold on to.

I absolutely love this book with all my heart. It feels so refreshing and raw and it hits you in all the right ways. It feels like a friend’s gentle words of advice and support all wrapped up in ink and paper. I will definitely pick this up whenever I feel down or are in need of some smooth words to let sink into my skin.
