Holy man! This is such a good book! I was not expecting half of what Sana puts you through!
What I love most is the Fast and Furious vibes that the book gives off. Your set in a local auto shop with a crew that works on cars as their daytime job, but they have a secret to them. What that secret is, you’ll have to read the book and find out!!
Overall, this book gives you a great amount of plot and spice. Spice rate: 🌶🌶🌶🌶 I love being about to read a book and there be a story to it and not just spice after spice after spice. This gives you that great combination.
If you’re into Fast and Furious and love a good plot with plenty of spice, this is the book for you!
Would you always do as you’re told by an adult? Lauren finds out the hard way that listening isn’t always the best route to go. After a tragedy when she was younger, Lauren goes through life with rumors floating around her. Are those rumors true?
I thought this was a pretty good book! There were some twists and turns that I certainly wasn’t expecting. However, the one downside is that there’s a lot of repeated things. This book also reads through a lot of different point of views and as the person for each chapter is retelling what happened. It can get confusing on who you’re listening to/reading.
Overall, I like the plot of story and finding out who did it at the ending was a BIG shocker!
Charlotte finds herself with a new identity and in a new town away from the tragic event that happened so many years ago. What she doesn’t know is that the past doesn’t always stay in the past.
I personally felt this was an okay book. It took me almost a month to read because it just couldn’t keep my attention. I was expecting something more thriller, but there was more fluff than actual thriller pieces to it. There were some surprising parts, like the ending (which I know isn’t a surprise haha), but I thought there’d be more. There was also some repeating parts too, which I wasn’t a fan of.
Overall, this was an okay book. Kind of sluggish and just didn’t keep my attention.
Flora is an innocent child… but is she really? This is what Lawyer Charlie is bound to find out. Thinking she’s helping a teenager get immunity from her grandparents, Charlie starts to help Flora. However, that’s not what Charlie is actually in for.
I enjoyed the fact that this book uses how innocent teenagers can act as the downfall for the main teen. Seeing Floras life unfold as she tells it to Charlie, but then to find out the truth when Flora is being scrutinized by the police is great.
I didn’t quite understand the back story to the reasoning on why the issue with Charlie’s dad is brought up, but that could be something that’s in the other books.
Overall, this was a great thriller/mystery kind of book. A great short read/listen!
One day you’re living the high life partying and having lots of friends. The next you find yourself having to spend the summer above a bar in a small ocean town in a different state. What you don’t expect is to possibly enjoy this life.
After a huge party, Piper finds herself in a predicament that lands her with having to move away for the summer. She doesn’t make much of those move as she doesn’t plan on staying there long. However, Westport, WA has a different plan for Piper. I loved following Piper who was figuring out that the small town may not be what it seems.
Brendan shows up at just the time that Piper needs him. While neither of them plan on having a relationship, that’s something that they both find is inevitable.
The love story between Piper and Brendan is super cute. I love how there’s some intimacy scenes thrown in that keep you on your toes.
I found that this book was light and airy. There wasn’t many deep problems that came up, which for summer reading was great. I mostly like when there some issues that happen in books, but this brought something airy from what I normally lean towards.
Overall, this was a good book and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves a romance with some sexy scenes. It’s a great summer read!
This book is almost like a smutty Twilight, but with sooooooo much more action. The inclusion of demons with vampires and werewolves is amazing. There’s hybrids along with humans. So there’s an awesome mix of the kind of characters you read about.
I’m not sure what I was thinking this book would be like, but it blew my mind away! This is apart of a series and I CANNOT wait for the other books to come out!
Monique is an AWESOME author and have nothing by great words to say about her!!
Your sister is getting married in Spain and you now find yourself single before the wedding. However, you told your family you’re in a relationship. You now have to find someone to go to another country to attend a wedding. In comes your annoying co-worker who weasels his way into your life. That’s how Catalina finds her life to be. As she works through her feelings and relationship with co-worker, Aaron, she finds that maybe he isn’t as annoying as she thought.
This book was a cute read about romance blossoming from co-workers who weren’t on the best of terms. I love how Catalina grows to find out that Aaron isn’t like how he portrays himself to be. The author also throw in a couple intimacy scenes, which was certainly something I was not expecting.
While this book was good, I felt it was lacking in depth. There was a lot of high level pieces that were apart of the storyline, but I didn’t think there was much depth. This could most definitely be the author was hoping for, but I guess that was kind of a miss for me.
Overall, the book was good. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a light kind of airy read.
A dark romance loosely based on the Disney story of Peter Pan. This explains this book to a T.
I enjoyed the story line along with the smut that’s thrown in.
However, I feel like there was something missing, but I can’t put my finger on it. I don’t know if there wasn’t enough depth or back story explained, but something was just ‘off’.
Overall, this was a good book. It’s the first of a triology and I can’t wait to read the others.
You find yourself as the child of the kids that awoke the Sanderson sisters years ago. You discover that the story your parents and aunt have been telling you for years actually true. What you don’t know is that you send your parents to the eves of hell all because of a spirit board. Poppy finds herself having to battle the Sanderson sisters the same way her parents and aunt did years ago. From this, she discovers the person she has a crush on has a unique history and talent about them. Does Poppy beat the Sanderson sisters and save Salem like her parents and aunt did?!
HOLY FREAKING GUACAMOLE!!!!!!
The written version of the originally Hocus Pocus is absolutely amazing! They get into the minds of the characters and it shows more of how they’re feeling than in the movie. This part of the book is almost word for word to how the movie is. If you haven’t seen the movie, you’re missing out!
When it comes to the sequel…. My mind is just blown!!! There’s a lot to discover about Poppy and her friends. Some things will surprise you!!!
My favorite part about the tire book is that the beginnings of chapters have a little drawn scene to them and the title is actually apart of the book!
Reading the book makes me super excited for the movie to come out so I can compare the two!
Overall, I’d you’re a HUGE Hocus Pocus fan like me, then this is definitely a book that you need to have!
