Macabre in the best of ways. There were places I felt the world building was a little thinner so things a little less solid, but just in a few patches and not over all. I think this would be a fit for people who enjoyed T. Kingfisher's "What Moves The Dead" or Krystal Sutherland's "House of Hollow"; it's got that beautiful-grotesque vibe down.

A fun cozy fantasy/mystery with lovable characters. It felt a little slow paced but not so much to discourage me. A nice arc for this particularly book, and I've already ordered the next two books and expect I'll enjoy how the arc for the series itself.

A lovely, Anne of Green Gables-inspired middle grade novel, but with magic.

A delightful follow up to the first, it felt equally needed, thoughtful, and uplifting.

I've had this one my shelf for ages and finally read it. It's perfectly fine, but doesn't stand out a lot; it also feels like it was trying to set up for a bigger story (i.e. meant to start a series) but this doesn't seem to have manifested.

I really enjoyed this return to the Faerie world but in the Victorian Era instead of regency. Excellent continued building on the world and good use of the gothic conventions with characters I enjoyed. 4.5 stars for me.

Absolutely cozy and charming. The rest of the set got ordered right away because I need more of this vibe in my life. :)
