As someone that has lived with a brain that sounds like Jolene's, this book was really well done. Well worth it.

i would've called this poorly written if i came across it on AO3, its wild that its published.

olive was an extremely frustrating character to be stuck listening to and not even in a fun way that makes you think. adam was entirely one dimensional and could've been swapped for a plank of wood at any time and i wouldn't have noticed. there were so many scenes where the author described insignificant things in extreme detail for so long too. i ended up having to skim whole sections.

sometimes its okay to leave fanfiction unpublished.

Really really well written and very good. Extremely dark, so dont be afraid to pace yourself.

I think it was good but the concept was far too intricate for such a short story so it got very confusing at points.

This book was about to be two stars for me and then at the end, when
Tris actually is killed off
it kind of saved the book for me. That was a really bold move for the author to make and it was the best part of the story. Not sure Ill bother to read the "Four" book though. We already know basically his entire backstory. I don't know if there was enough left to write a prequel.
