It’s a nice airport read, if I’m honest. I wouldn’t read it again. It’s not something that’s super deep that you completely absorb yourself in, unfortunately. But it was a nice quick romance.

I can’t believe I’ve rated this 3.75 starts but alas. Anyway, thsi series got me back into reading (well the first book in the trilogy did anyway) so I was really holding out hope. The first book: AMAZEBALLS. Second book: fantastico. Third book (aka this one): eh… I really love the narrator so so much the effort they put in to bring the characters to life is amazing. That's like the only thing that was consistent.

Also I feel like if this book came out earlier like by 4 months people would’ve actually been able to out the story together better, cause I just forgot most of the plot. (Maybe that says more about the quality of the story 😬). I love the story though, well up until the second book.

Well well, well let’s just say that someone should’ve stayed dead who was supposed to be dead. COS I PERSONALLY FEEL LIKE THEY RUINED THE STORY WITH THERE SHENANIGANS. Like… if this person would’ve just been unsliced for real the KOTW universe would’ve been a better place

Amelia and her sister, Vittoria should have just stayed normal human beings imo because they were so much more interesting.
Unless we are getting a prequel I don’t like that they were made into Goddesses It took away from the story. Personally I’m not a dated livers typa gal

That .5 of a star was for Nesta figuring out herself. Because apart from that this book was shite. THERE WAS A SEX SCENE LIKE EVERY 5 PAGES 😭. IF YOUR GUNNA DO A SEX SCENE AT LEAST LET THE CHARACTERS HAVE A BIT OF CHEMISTRY OR TENSION BEFORE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS, THAT LASTS FOR LIKE 10 CHAPTERS 😭😭😭😭.

I’D GLADLY SWAP OUT ALL THE P*RN IN THIS SHITENESS FOR A WELL THOUGHT OUT PLOT. 😭😭😭

Honestly I’m so disappointed 😔.
Like why SJM are you trying to appeal to the smut community, when your books were already great. I just wanted a good fantasy book to carry on the series that had a great storyline… BUT NO THAT CANT HAPPEN BECAUSE THEN THE SERIES WOULD BE TOO GOOD 😃 (that was sarcasm btw)

But seriously I wanted a good plot with a nice side romance. Sure we can have some sex scenes but the two characters actually need to have chemistry bro. LIKE I FELT LIKE I WAS READING FRIGGIN P*ORN. I had to skip multiple sex scenes cause they were so shite 💀 and loveless 💀🥲.

This book might have well as been paper thin without all that p*rn.

Eh… it was alright. Telemachus 😤, at the beginning you really got on my nerves.

Had to read it for school.
Actually, I was going to read it anyway, but since we had to read it for school it made me dislike it…. So it was alright. It’s quite tricky to get into though.

ITS BLOODY BORING (so boring in fact I ended up playing snake whilst listening to it, BECAUSE IT WAS TOO DRAINING TO READ)… I WAS FORCED TO RESAD THIS BY MY “GOD-COMPLEX” OF AN EXCUSE FOR AN ENGLISH TEACHER, (oh boy could I write a 100 paragraph essay on why this steroid chugger of a man boils my blood). I ain’t into reading about reality or sad depressing things. I’m a fantasy/romance typa gal. I don’t want to be reading about one of the most sensitive touchy depressing topics in all of history…. DAN I HATE YOU. I’m not trying to be insensitive or anything (I’m half black for all you chronically online people), it just isn’t something I’d ever pick up in a million years and I hate my English teacher for forcing us to read this as I’m pretty sure his the biggest, baddest baddie, bigot I’ve ever met. God I hope he’s on Storygraph so he can see how much he pisses me off.
