a sweet, lovely little standalone

i kinda wish there’d been one more chapter between the last two, just to flesh things out a bit more, but it was a really touching final volume overall.

i think the girlies should’ve been meaner to kensuke, actually :) like, yeah, trauma makes u do stupid shit sometimes and i liked the decision to have him still be willing to make things better, but like, he was absolutely in the wrong for starting the fight. let them chew him out some more, i say! also, i wish some of the bioessentialist ideas in that chapter had been addressed, especially given how long that whole conversation was… everything else was just as emotional and lovely as the rest of the volumes though.
