A page-turner from start to end, this dystopian novel was easily able to capture my attention from the get-go with the magical creative writing style the author was able to displayed, refreshing and unique characters, and storyline that captivated me. With this novel being the first I have read from this author, I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.

I had to sit back to think long and hard about my final thoughts about this novel. There were just so many great elements ranging from the detailed storyline, the diverse group of characters that each contributed to Vaelin journey and the story itself, and the author's writing style that changed this storytelling to something way beyond that made this an exceptional read. But going into this I had realized, much later on, I should have read Raven’s Shadow trilogy before diving into this fantasy novel to get a better understanding of the characters, their tormented pasts and how war changed each individual character. I believe because of that, I wasn't able to form a real connection with the characters and story thus making it more than difficult to really immerse myself into the epic fantasy world that the author was able to create for us. Furthermore I had a minor (or maybe the biggest?) issue was the pacing of the story. It was damn slow. Too damn slow if you ask me. Don’t get me wrong I normally love the build up when the slow pace is done right and unpopular opinion or not, “The Wolf's Call” was dragging me down. I’m not gonna lie but due to the pacing of the story, I found myself more often than not losing focus and having to backtrack to reread a line I have already read. That’s never a good sign people but despite that I was able to quickly redirected my attention half way through the novel when the story really started to progress. I won’t provide too many details to spoil the series holy shit, the author left a lasting impression on me and I look forward to seeing what he has to bring with the next edition of the duology.

Action? Check. Romance? Check. Badass heroine? Double check. If you're looking for all the above, ding ding! You have yourself a winner. From page one, "Reign of Dragons" was a fast paced action packed reverse harem romance (which could've been done without to be honest) novel that left me in awe with the refreshing concept and badass characters, main and side included. Cause I mean who didn't love Tucker and Levi? And just when you thought the novel was over, BANG! The author announced there are ten plus more novels in the series. Feel bless people, feel very blessed.

Overall Opinion:
The first installment of this trilogy, I immediately became immersed in this fantasy world which was story filled advertising of good versus evil, epic battles, heartwarming romance and characters that kick some major ass. I will notate that it did start start slow which almost prompted me to drop the series but I persevered and was immensely become fascinated by Keeley journey to becoming the Queen. "The Blacksmith Queen" was an overall enjoyable read and I look forward to future editions of this fantasy series.

― “Love doesn’t care about rules or timing, Bradach . It has its own course, and right now, it’s chosen you.”
Overall Opinion:
What the Fek? This was a lot shorter than I had expected, so when I breeze through the ARC, the fantasy novel was over before I knew it. To sum it up there was action, romance and great characters that had me turning the pages without missing a beat. Let's not forget to mention that "Dark Alpha's Redemption" didn't out beat the previous installment but I still had an overall enjoyable reading experience and the author was able to surprised me with a twist I wasn't expecting which I wished she would have further explored. Moreso the romance between Maeve and Bradach love was instant and there just wasn't enough built up leading to the whirlwind romance and despite that, Donna Grant made that up with the other great elements that brought this story together. Overall decent read and I can't wait for the next one.

― “Even the master of the universe deserves a day off to enjoy life’s…pleasures.”
― “Because I. Can’t. Do. That. I can’t enjoy the luxury of making you laugh. Of taking you out and treating you like the amazing woman you are. Of kissing you in the middle of Times Square with the world watching. Not without jeopardizing everything I’ve worked so hard for. Without destroying my father’s legacy. I’m willing to do that. For you. But I need to know you’re all in. I need to know you’re willing to take a risk. To take a chance.”
Overall Opinion:
Seamlessly a sexy adventure from start to end! I wasn't too sure what to expect when I requested this book from the series and overall it was a great read. The oozing chemistry between Lincoln and Chloe can be felt through pages and their back and forth struggle with fighting their attraction and wanting to be together kept the drama flowing. I will also like to mention that the author did an outstanding job including relatable elements such as alcoholism and dysfunctional relationships that made it more easy to relate to the characters and their stories. "Wicked Games" was filled with funny, sexy characters and a decent plot that left you intrigued from start to end. Did I forget to mention the muy caliente sex scenes?! They were beuno! Needless to say the author definitely didn't disappoint with this modern day forbidden romance.

This heartwarming novel tells the story of a single mother struggling to make ends meet and when her widow neighbor who can occasionally babysits for catches on, he comes up with a plan to help her during the financial woes. Finding love again can be difficult for anyone and author is able to convey that in her words. A cute, romance about two single parents finding love again.

Title: Forever Wild
Author(s): Allyson Charles
Character(s):
Annelise "Lissa" Ansel: Brunette, Blue Eyed

Tag(s): Romance, Contemporary
Content Rating: R

Favorite Quote(s):
― “Show me a little of that wild side you like to keep buttoned up.”
Overall Opinion:
In New Orleans to pick up a group of dogs to take back to the sanctuary in Michigan, Dax's life is forever altered when he finds a breathtaking straggler at the back of his truck trying to hitchhike a ride to anywhere. Within one month, a whirlwind romance ensues but the pursuit of happiness is cut short when the talented artist past comes to light. From start to finish, it was hard not to enjoy the journey of Dax and Lissa falling in love even though I would consider it instant because who falls in love in less than 6 weeks? Otherwise it didn't take away the enjoyment of reading this series. In addition, I thought the characters mesh well and were able to bring out the best in each other, thus leaving us with a heartwarming romance.

Overall Opinion:
Immortals? Vampires? Witches? And an evil villain trying to take over the world? That my friends are the elements that make a good supernatural series. Despite the lack of romance, "Birth Of The Bacchae: A Vampire Origin Story" was a pleasant read that proved that the debut author was able to utilize her detailed writing style to enthralled the readers by actually creating a story and not some fufu romance story that would have left me rolling in my grave. An overall decent read with unexpected twists and turns, and provides the reader an insight on the origins and background of vampires.

Overall Opinion:
"Love At First Bark" was a cute romance that could easily tug at anyone's heart strings. The story focus on the lead heroine who suddenly has to deal with her estranged husband unexpected death while dealing with her bubbling feelings towards his best friend Brad, whom is the Godfather of her child. During the process of grieving and dealing with the sudden shake up in their lives, new discoveries are unraveled and relationships are put to the test. This was definitely a heartwarming, puptastic romance I really enjoyed.
