I thought that watching the movie before I read the book would ruin it for me but I was so wrong. Both mediums have their benefits- but it was so beneficial to be able to see the story from Cheryl's lense

I was a bit apprehensive coming into this book, I was afraid that there may be stereotypes that made me cringe and other things of the sorts- but I had no reason to be afraid. This book was wonderful and engaging and I finished in a week! My only criticisms are that I think of is that the ending felt a tad bit rushed and some of the smut felt a bit off compared to the rest of the book

Honestly I couldn't get into this book- the effort and the passion showed through but it was sometimes dry and repetitive. Good thought behind it and great illustration though!

Hands down one of the greatest books I have ever read. I am not very well versed in Greek mythology but Miller does a great job at making the book accessible. This book captured my heart and ripped it into a million pieces. There was not one moment where I was not enamored by this book.
