God it feels like forever since I last completed a book 😅 I’m so glad I finally finished this one. I didn’t love it as much as I hoped to but I definitely enjoyed it, and it was truly the perfect Spring read. For anyone who likes stories about families and magic, I definitely recommend this.

The writing was unremarkable and the fact that 90% of the book was just straight-up miscommunication between characters was frustrating. But I really appreciated the ending, and I thought that it was a refreshing take on a queer teen romance.

This was not a good book by any means but it was definitely entertaining! I’m intrigued to pick up the next one.

This was lovely. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first story, but the second and third were really great.

I think I’ll love every book set in the “Strange Planet” universe, especially when cats are involved.

This was cute! To be completely honest, I only picked it up because one of my best friends is the illustrator. So I may be a bit biased, but the illustrations were beautiful! 😂 Really though, I loved the bright colours, and the gorgeous details that always caught my eye. Catarina’s talent for portraying the beauty of nature is unmatched! If I was basing my rating on how the book looked, 5/5 stars! However, I really wasn’t a fan of the writing, and I don’t believe it’s because I’m not the target audience. To me, it just felt unrealistic/scripted, and very much unlike how people (kids and adults alike) would actually speak. Overall though, I think the book did what it set out to do, and I’m excited for families to read it together!! Definitely happy to have this stunning book on my shelves.
