Don't Go to Bed Angry: Stay Up and Fight by Deb DeArmond, Ronald G. DeArmond
5.0
Full review on Mama Bear Outpost
This book isn't a manual on how to control your spouse, get even, or change him/her. This is a book to use together, to better the way you communicate during the tough moments. It will help both of you understand your mindsets and how you tick when you're angry. Don't Go to Bed Angry, gets into the thick of what your fighting styles are and gives Biblical basis on how to reform, regroup, and approach disagreements in way that won't tear you two apart. Being that it's coming from a married couple, you won't have to worry about this book being one-sided. Trust me-they're laying it all out for the BOTH of you.

Like a River from Its Course by Kelli Stuart
5.0

Most books I have read, take place within Germany. Like a River from its Course takes place within the Ukraine-a setting I'm unfamiliar with. That's okay, because Kelli Stuart does an amazing job of immersing you in and making you feel like you're in the middle of it all.
My mission is to make my father proud, to be a part of history.
The book is written with different perspectives, the chapter titles allowing you to keep track of who's POV you are experiencing. These people felt so real. If you can't get emotionally involved with the characters in this book- something is absolutely wrong.
This book has all of the angst, heartache, and determination you expect from a WWII novel. If you have any interest in this subject matter-pick.this.up.

When Death Draws Near by Carrie Stuart Parks
5.0

This book has the flavor of Kathy Reich's Temperance Brennan books, but has the added nugget of faith with really steps it up. Make no mistake-this is a thriller, and a good one at that. There are two other books before this one, but When Death Draws Near, works great as a stand alone.

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
5.0
This started out a little slower than Clockwork Prince, but caught myself smiling through most of the book. I'm 200% Team Jem, but I have this eerie feeling that I'm going to be disappointed in Clockwork Princess.
