I really wanted to read this book. However it was boring. None of the characters were particularly memorable or likeable and they all felt like archetypes. I didn't even like Skedi and normally I eat his character type up.

This book is too juvenile and predictable. Neither of the main characters are likeable. Also feels like Princess Bride AU.

It's just not for me. The main character feels shallow

This book was an interesting read. It teaches you a lot about science and religion and does a good job with creating a dialogue between the two. The book was incredibly slow moving, and anti climatic. And the ending was a little wonky in my opinion. It gave it a more realistic feel.

I couldn't put the book down. It was a compelling, beautiful read. I was hesitant to read at first but I'm glad I did.

This book feels juvenile and I'm struggling to get in to it. I don't like the characters. It feels like a YA with swearing.

I feel my biggest problem with this book is the description doesn't really match the actual story. I understand it's a WW2 story but it feels like it should have had a little more hope to it. I've noticed this author is a fan of writing beautiful but bleak stories and I would just like a touch less suffering. I also called the twist at the end very early on.

This book was very hard to read. Frankly it wasn't interesting and it dragged on. It wasn't bad enough to DNF but I definitely put it down a lot. Someone said it sounded like a fictional self help book and they summed it up perfectly.

While the story was pretty and I liked the ideas and the imagery. I feel like the characters and their situations were rushed. It made the closure feel less natural. I feel like this story could have been longer to give it time to feel more natural

This is the type of book you read over a long period of time. It was a beautiful story although the book is overall long and heavy. I enjoyed reading it. The ending felt anticlimactic and like it didn't fit. It was still worth the read.
