Thanks to Hygge Book Tours for having me on this tour.

This is a brilliant book about children with dyspraxia. It follows the story of Bea, a young girl who has just found out she has dyspraxia. Throughout the book, we follow Bea through the difficulties of her condition and how it affects her life. I love the pictures in this book and how it shows that friendships can overcome challenges. It also effectively portrays the difficulties that a child can go through with this condition and how it can make them feel. This is a brilliant book for any child or adult to read in order to become more aware of dyspraxia and the mental and physical effects it can cause for those affected by this condition. Explore this insightful narrative to embrace empathy and awareness. Discover how resilience and support can triumph over adversity. #HyggeBookTours #Dyspraxia #ChildrensBooks #Friendship #Awareness #Empathy #Resilience #Support #Inclusion #MentalHealth #PhysicalChallenges

I absolutely loved this book! The character development and the way mental health was depicted were truly exceptional. The bond between Ally and Pasha was incredibly heartwarming. In the sequel to "To Kiss the Sea," we follow the amazing journey of Pasha, a solitary mermaid, and Ally Kingfisher, as they work together to protect both their terrestrial and aquatic realms from powerful enemies. The book is brimming with adventure, delightful surprises, and unwavering optimism. The vivid portrayal of the setting and underwater scenes completely transported me to a magical world. Even though the conclusion was filled with suspense, I found the ending to be immensely satisfying. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting and captivating read to anyone looking for a truly magical and uplifting experience!

In this book, we follow Flo Greenberg as she goes on holiday with her family and their family friend, Jamie. Florence Greenberg has been avoiding family gatherings since last Christmas because she cannot stand to be around her brother's best friend Jamie, who led her on, ended their relationship abruptly, and then disappeared. Despite their mutual dislike, it's hard to avoid each other during family holidays. Although some of the plot was predictable, I thoroughly enjoyed this book as a palate cleanser, and it really hit the spot for me in terms of letting me forget about the rest of the world.

Thanks to Netgalley and the tagged publisher for my copy of  Date with Destiny by Lucy Vine.

In this captivating book, we accompany Ginny, who has been receiving predictions from a fortune teller since the age of 16 for when she turns 32. Finally, that fateful year has arrived. Will all the predictions unfold as foretold, or are they mere fabrications? Although I found the first half of this book to progress at a leisurely pace, I thoroughly enjoyed the introduction to all those who revolve around Ginny, including her sister Toni and Mffanwy. The girls' mother, Celeste, is quite overbearing, yet I found the interactions between the girls to be endearing. While there were moments that didn't resonate with me, feeling somewhat exaggerated and overly convenient, the book seemed to take a forced turn after Ginny deviated from her destined path. Nevertheless, it undeniably remains a commendable book. The characters were exceptionally well-drawn; at times, they were genuinely irksome, and their actions incited a desire to express frustration. However, I appreciated the journey Ginny, her mother, and her sister underwent in their quest to discover themselves and find happiness in life. Particularly intriguing was the exploration of the girls' powers and the unwavering support they received from the women surrounding Ginny.

Beneath the light-hearted exterior, this narrative subtly delves into hidden issues and imparts poignant lessons, skillfully presented by the author without overwhelming the readers. It offers much more than a typical rom-com, and I found that truly appealing.

I absolutely love this series and would easily give it a 5-star rating. This book is packed with excitement, from the introduction of Ai to a shocking murder and the unexpected rebirth of two characters as the babies of a renowned Idol, AI, who tragically falls victim to a crazed fan. The premise for "Oshi No Ko" is undeniably unique. It revolves around an OBGYN who stumbles upon Ai Hoshino, a rising idol, through a former patient. As a devoted fan, he's taken aback when she seeks his help. What follows is an incredibly unconventional reincarnation story that pushes boundaries, yet it also exudes heartfelt emotion and genuine sadness. The ending of the first volume truly caught me off guard and tugged at my heartstrings. Now, there's potential for an incredible revenge plot that I'm eagerly anticipating.

I would like to express my gratitude to Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with a copy of "Sworn" by Maria Luis, which is book 1 in the Blood Duet series. I listened to this book via audio and truly enjoyed the voices of both Lincoln and Ava. Captivating and remarkably portrayed, this book catches you off guard and evokes a blush with its spicy scenes. From the very beginning, SWORN had me on the edge, carrying a pulse with every scene. The chemistry between Avery & Lincoln unfolded seamlessly, pulling and pushing the story to its limits. The narration by Stella Hunter & JF Harding was flawless, breathing life into the story in living colour. Their incredible performances made every moment of the story come alive, leaving me speechless.

I was completely captivated by the characters and the plot in this book. Jovie, also known as Brynn, together with Kai and Acker, her destined partner, set off on an exhilarating adventure. The depth of Jovie and Acker becomes apparent as they confront dangerous challenges from both natural elements and other individuals throughout the journey. The magical elements of the story are truly captivating, and the characters and their actions will completely immerse you. From the moment I saw the cover, I sensed it would be an outstanding read. However, I didn't fully grasp how exceptional the story would be until I dove into it. Ultimately, it all comes down to the quality of the writing. Although I enjoy fantasy books, I sometimes struggle to stay engaged if the writing is overly ornate or descriptive. Yet, Schneider's superb storytelling not only vividly portrays the characters' world but also creates an extraordinary sense of urgency and excitement. Once you reach Chapter 2, it's a non-stop thrill ride. The narrative is gripping and intriguing, and the characters are both endearing and, at times, spine-chilling. It's an imaginative world to lose yourself in, and once again, the writing is what truly enhances the entire experience for me. I simply couldn't put it down; I found myself staying up late just to read one more page. The dynamic interpersonal struggles and conflicts are incredibly captivating. I am eagerly looking forward to Book 2 with great anticipation! Just when you think everything is about to conclude happily, the author introduces a jaw-dropping "plot twist." The final few chapters are gripping, and I am eagerly anticipating the next instalment because I'm left with so many burning questions.

Friendship is a source of strength and comfort.

Minnie and Jesse first encounter one another in a cosy cafe, striking up a conversation that leads to an agreement to have regular and purely platonic "play dates" in order to establish new connections. However, adhering to the advice from their therapist proves to be quite a challenge. Minnie is grappling with the aftermath of a painful breakup while also pursuing her dreams in the acting world, whereas Jesse is dealing with the recent loss of his father, the betrayal of his wife, and the endeavour of writing a children's book. Their shared escapades take them on a journey to Paris and Provence, where they visit Jesse's mother. The narrative of the book incorporates poignant flashbacks and examines the Bechdel test, at times utilizing strong language. Despite the challenges stemming from a difficult breakup, the overall story is deeply heartwarming, and the characters are truly endearing.

Thanks to Netgalley and the tagged publisher for my copy of Fated by Sarah Ready, the third book in the Ghosted series.

A captivating tale of love and the supernatural in Fated by Sarah Ready.

I liked how Fiona Abry's journey to find love was portrayed in this book, although it did have a slower pace compared to the previous instalment of the series. The connections to the last book, especially the part about the bet, were fantastic. The story explores the romance between Aaron and Fi, revealing that things are not as perfect as they seem when Fi enters Aaron’s life. It has a great premise and a fresh, sweet feel, delving deeply into paranormal themes. Fiona, a busy working person, Fiona dreams of a different life with Aaron and the children by the beach, adding an intriguing twist to the plot. Aaron is a particularly compelling character, and Fiona's relationships with her brother, Daniel and her best friend, Max, truly add depth to the story. I'm eagerly anticipating the fourth book in this series.
