It's an interesting insight into Marcel Proust, his thinking and the influencing context in which he lived. I liked also the introduction suggesting how to read for yourself... "Everything is potentially a fertile subject for art... and that we can make discoveries as valuable in an advertisement for soap as in Pascal's Pensées" or "what separates voluntary from involuntary memory?".
