Shelter Me Surprised!
To say this book was a pleasant surprise is a bit of an understatement. I had attempted to read this several years ago and couldn’t get into it. But as the only book I haven’t read by T. S. Joyce, besides her newest books, I had to give it another try. I’m really glad I did because this story was a great one. Though I am not usually a fan of a pregnancy trope, this one wasn’t overbearing. Though the FMC was pregnant you almost forgot about it as the story unfolded. Yes, it was brought to light again and was something that was in the back of your mind while reading it didn’t overwhelm the story. This may be put on my to be read again pile.

This book kept me enthralled so much it was almost impossible to put it down. I listen to audiobooks while I work and it made me want to let all my phone calls go to voicemail! I truly cannot wait until the next book comes out! I’ll be re-reading the whole series before it does so it’s fresh in my mind.

I loved the way this story unfolded. It sucked me right in from the first chapter. It definitely has a super slow burn romance and it was delightful! Usually I’m not much of a slow burn fan but this was just delicious! Looking forward to reading more books like this and more from the author. Highly recommend picking this book up.
