Quick and easy read with enough happening to keep my interest, but I hated every character and everything that was happening. It wasn’t terrible, but also not something I’d recommend.

This movie always confused me, but the book gave me all of the answers I needed. After reading the book then watching the movie immediately after this fall, I can confidently say that the movie is still extremely confusing and doesn’t even follow the same story.. whole characters are missing, people’s personas are different. It’s weird.

Your typical chaotic romance. I probably would’ve rated it higher if I wasn’t currently in the middle of a fantasy series with much more complexity and depth.

Infuriating. The characters. The plot. Just absolutely not.

The story itself was fine, but the main character was insufferable.

This was incredibly painful to read. The main character was so frustrating and naive. The whole theme is “nothing is real” and she prided herself in believing she was the perfect person for the game because of her upbringing, yet her personality and emotions kept getting in her way. Things kept falling into her lap.. she did absolutely nothing to deserve the things she was given.

“Are you sure it wasn’t an illusion” “I’m POSITIVE” was repeated over and over again 🤦🏻‍♀️
