The “passion” between the two main characters makes me want to gag. I’m tired of picking up what’s marketed as a cozy witchy book and reading only about pebbled nipples, feasting on her center, and the large bulge in his pants. Sex in books is perfectly fine as long as it doesn’t distract from the storyline. This entire book is just sexual fantasies.

Not for me. Similar storyline to any Stephen King story, also not for me.

It’s giving Uglies, but I’ll have to see where the story goes.

I’m unsure how to feel, but I know it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
-What was the point of the son’s personality traits? Nothing came of it.
-The “friendships” between these women were surface level and them coming together in the end gave me zero comfort in their “unbreakable bond”. These women sucked just as much as the men did.
-Why did the children randomly choose to live with the mom after hating her the entire book?
