Wow. What an incredibly gut wrenching yet stunning piece of art. Highly recommend.

20% in and bored out of my mind. I've been struggling so much with enjoying thrillers lately.

This is probably my least favorite in the series so far. Definitely did not feel intrigued by the plot or characters that much lol

As someone who grew up around a number of Deaf people and who at one point thought I would become an interpreter myself, I really Enjoyed reading a book with Deaf representation because I so rarely see it! This book was educational, entertaining, and emotional. It didn’t completely WOW me which is why it isn’t 5 stars but I will definitely be recommending this book to others!

This was kind of disappointing. It was funny and witty at moments but i felt like the story lines were very disjointed and found it to drag a ton in the middle. Overall it felt kind of unsatisfying.

As per usual, Sara Cate absolutely brings it with the spicy scenes and binge-able writing style. This wasn't my favorite of the series but I still really enjoyed it! I loved Maggie's character from the start but it took me a while to 1. care about Beau and 2. believe in their love for each other. VERY hot, sweet, and introspective.

Definitely didn’t love this one as much as the first, main reason being the repetitiveness of it. I felt like I read the same conversations and scenes so many times. I still loved all the characters and their relationships and I’m definitely continuing in the series, especially because once again we were left on a major cliffhanger!

I loved the isolated setting in this book and the mystery vibes of trying to figure out why the sniper was there. I kind of hated most of the characters though😂 and it was definitely repetitive at times. I think the audiobook made this more enjoyable than reading the print would have for sure.

Wow. What an incredibly stunning book. There were so many characters and yet they were all fleshed out beautifully and had unique points of view and voices throughout. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, and I shook my head on several occasions. I think it is such a smart move to read historical fiction from the point of view of children, teens, and young adults as it gives such a different viewpoint on history than that you will ever learn in school.

Highly highly recommend the audio for this one, all of the narrators were amazing!
