I’m not usually a crier when reading but this book hit my heart more than I expected. I learned a lot about the POC experience in the south and Queer experience in the south.

I enjoyed the book as it was informative and I felt represented appropriately. However, it was hard for me to read as it was very information based so that’s why I give it 4.5. I probably wouldn’t read it again even though it was good.
