Wow! Not that is what I call a journey. Sure, Eadlyn was a brat in the beginning, but she really started to warm up to me and I ended up liking her a little. Just a little. But I still want to punch her!

I'm not saying I disliked this novella, because I did. It was cute and I'm happy that Allyson and Willem had the ending they deserved. But was the constant changing POV needed? It confused me a lot.

This was just....meh. I loved Cam in Wait For You because he was charming and just a general good guy, but this book didn't add anything new to him. If anything it was a little bit messy!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are messed up, but their stories are so relatable to me. I loved the deep, dark storyline and the romance was a little different. Really excited for the next book.
Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios
I kinda gave up on this book back in December 2014. I liked the idea of it being about Jinni's, but there was a lot of info-dumping that threw me off course. I will definitely try and re-read it all when I am in the mood for it though because the characters were perfect.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
“You can only actually help someone who wants to be helped.”
Despite my rating, I can definitely see why people love this book. Up until page 200, I was obsessed with it. The characters were flawed, the story was honest and the writing was brilliant. But then I hit a wall. A wall I couldn't jump over.
So while I left the story at that, I think I'll visit it one day. Maybe when the movie is released.
“I know this isn’t a conventional love story. I know there are all sorts of reasons I shouldn’t even be saying what I am. But I love you. I do. I knew it when I left Patrick. And I think you might even love me a little bit.”

I'm so disappointed.
Hex Hall was such a fun read, but Demonglass was a complete mess. It became too cliché and predictable and the characters of Jenna, Sophie and Cal were not the same as they were in Hex Hall. Sophie was whiny and very child like, Jenna was a bore and Cal talked too much.
Rachel Hawkins is officially the Queen of Ruining Good Series!

After thinking about it for a while I've decided to change my star rating. The truth is, I just didn't like it enough to want to continue on with Part 2. It's a shame because the premise is interesting and the characters are great, but everything else is just MEH.

Compared to the first 2 books this one wasn't up to scratch. After 160-ish pages the story started to become slow and remained like that for at least another hundred pages. Plus there were the translation issues. So many darn mistakes. The last 80 pages were so cheesy and that ending wasn't the best.
However, I still very much enjoyed this series and I am glad that I gave it a shot because it has become a favourite of mine.

I seriously enjoyed this book. It started off slow, but over time it became so fast-paced. The characters were enjoyable, relatable and I'm desperate the get the 2nd and 3rd book.
I need more Witchy paranormal books in my life.
