I think I was at my limit to read any further of this series ,the premise was great but the characters and how they act . It's just not for me I absolutely don't like the characters at all and Tavi is just what a more waterdowned version of Matt in wheel of time except for the fuckboy part. I jut can't continue with this thing and Isana and Fade Come on I mean really UHHHH I'm done

the book was complete garbage . I was intruiged by this book when i first saw the synopsis but when I read it the first20 pages or saw was good and the rest was downhill from there. I liked the protagonist at first but after the ship scene he was just a completely different man when i mean by different he got infactuated by a typical I will save the world princess and he lost all his ideals teachings and all to it . No likable characters , action sequences were okay , world building was intriguing but done poorly, All was a complete hot mess

I really enjoyed and the relationships between the dragons and thier handlers are truly tearjerking.

The Writing is top notch I really liked how he seamlessly transitioned between present day Kvothe and the Kvothe in the Past and his magic system is pretty interesting but I didn't like the magic system in overall it didn't urged me to look forward to what would happen with these magic.
I didn't like the characters the protagonist or the female lead, but I kinda liked Bast. Kvothe it's a love hate relationship I only liked the Kvothe who was well struggling in the streets version Kvothe and here and there for the Present day Kvothe.

The Female lead character Denna I totally dispise her I don't like her in the least and the other characters I don't care the least what happens except for Bast(I think that's his name I didn't check the spelling)

For the Academy or School or whatever the is the thing that they are showing in the story it didn't pique my interest not a lot of ambience in the Academy I could say.

All I'm trying to convey is that in short this novel is not my cup of tea.

I just couldn't put the book down. It had a little bit of some elements I disliked , but the main character persevered and I quite liked the rest .
