this was fantastically well written and gripping, but towards the end i was just tired. it is so miserable and miserable and miserable and there is only so much of that continuous misery that my brain registers as sad before it just gets... dreary. the gratuitous descriptions of self-harm didn't help on that end either. 
beautiful imagery and a wonderful display of love, and family, and of relationships. i am very glad to be finished with it.

i have so much to say about this that i keep wrapping around to not being able to say anything at all. the sadness was so constant i didn't realise it was there until i realised it was there - and it kept happening. i kept feeling sobs building without my brain being given the message. people are made of love, and other people, and we are always everyone.
