Never have I felt so devastated over a character losing her husband like *that* and someone, I don’t care who, needs to pay for my therapy.

Funniest out of the Thursday Next novels, and still the ending moved me.

The kind of book you can’t put down because of how the story continued to unfold in surprising, sad ways. For a moment, I braced myself for a devastating ending. What I got instead was what any reader could ever want from a novel: an enduring feeling of hope. 4.5 stars.
