It was like a conversation with an old friend that continued on and off for a month or so. I wish he was my friend.

I loved this book! Party Girl and The House of Yes are two films that were huge for me growing up. Parker Posey is a voice you want to hear in your head - you know you’re doing it right when the voice agrees with you. I finished this book in two days and I will most likely get the audio just to listen to her tell her story with her signature voice.

Brilliant! I would categorize the outsider as a Pennywise-like character. I have to look at Mr. Mercedes again because I believe we have some visiting characters from that novel. What I absolutely loved was the shout-out to Harlan Coben. It was like going to a party and seeing two of your best friends that you really don't get to catch up with often together.

My favorite description was of hyacinth red, "a scarlet red, with lemon yellow and a minute proportion of brown."
