I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. Honestly, I loved it as mush as I did A Court of Mist and Fury. Was it perfect? Hell no. But I certainly enjoyed almost all of it.

What I loved:
- Nesta finding the will to live again.
- House of Wind. Where do I look for apartment that reads romance and brings me cakes? That's some high real estate standards.
- Cassian and their relationship.
I also liked that mating bond didn't make them talk in each other heads. Small blessings.

- Gwyn and Emerie. They are priceless.
I really like that only two of them got to the top of Ramiel. However, I would've liked to see more of Illyrians and what happened after two females won and what they thought about the weapons present in the Blood Rite

- That this book didn't have a lot to do with world saving and we could concentrate on Nesta's journey.

What I didn't enjoy:
- Handling of Feyre's pregnancy. That was bad from start till finish. At least I wanted to see Feyre's conversation with Rhys. And for Feyre to tell Nesta what she said Cassian afterwards. Resolving conflict is really not the strongest suit of SJM.
- Stagnant Lucien and Elain situation. I know it not either of that character's book, but we could've had at least some miniscule progress. I do hope it wouldn't come to three brothers, three sisters in the end.
- That scene with three newly made items annoyed the hell out of me. Voting on what to tell someone about their powers is sick.
-
That Nesta lost almost all of her power to save Feyre and Nyx. Granted, it was for her sister and not lover, but still. First Amren, now Nesta. Can we stop with women losing power, please?

-
Nesta didn't even get the chance to explore the full extent of her power. Random bursts were interesting, but I would've liked to know more about it. I guess, nothing to know anymore.

-
Rhys implying that Nesta could be sold to Eris. I know he didn't intend to go through with it, but for real? It's not enough to say "It's her choice" when that's about an individual who has huge self-loathing and self-punishing tendencies.
