Elsie just KNOWS how to write a HOF af single dad and Weston is the club’s newest member. I absolutely loved this book. Weston is so sweet, protective, and supportive both as a dad and as a partner. He was the safe place that Skylar needed to heal and find herself. She was able to find a true home and family with him and the kids. Skylar had really been through it but she was a fighter and it was beautiful seeing her journey back into her own. I just loved the scenes with her and the kids, so heart warming seeing their relationship grow. But don’t worry this is an Elsie book so there are plenty of hot and spicy scenes, Weston has a mouth on him! I recommend this book for fans of single dad or celebrity romances because this book does both tropes so well.

While I enjoyed this book I found it hard to stay engaged in the story. I kept putting it down and was not very motivated to finish. This is definitely more of a me problem as I had no issue with the book. I would recommend it.

Fans of Emily Henry will enjoy this book. It swings a little heavier on the contemporary fiction than the romance and tactfully manages themes around grief, cancer, and guilt/anxiety. While I liked Alison and Adam at times it felt like they were two individuals on these journeys who fell in love without always really feeling that unity or connection. I wanted more of that on the page. Tbh I would have rather read a Chelsea x Patrick story because their friendship and connection was begging for its own story. Despite that I did enjoy reading this book.

This book is very immersive you will easily picture yourself on the ranch. I loved Henry and especially loved him for Tait. He just understood her and what she needed (and needed to hear). I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve despite their mutual restraint. Even better was when the restraint finally let go. Also the family drama in this one was soap opera level, which really checked some boxes for me. That B plot was interesting and helped Tait re-find herself after her divorce. If you’re a fan of Savor It by Tarah or cowboy/ranch romances you will like this book!

Men written by Laura Pavlov? What’s not to love? Grumpy single dad’s? Even better. Combine the two and you have too tier. I just knew I was going to eat Nash’s book up. He is the perfect grumpy MMC who deeply loves the inner circle he cares about. Plus this book featured maximum Cutler aka Beefcake content. I just adore that kid. He is so open free loving and hilarious. Now let’s talk about our girl Emerson. I really liked her, she’s so relatable (as a planner I see her). It was fun seeing her relationship with Nash evolve. Nash and her just clicked. I loved that he helped ground her and really see what she deserved. Her relationship with Cutler was so special and moving. I loved seeing her Nash and Cutler become this beautiful little family. As always honorable mention this friend group that I can’t get enough of. This book was so good and was hard to put down. I recommend this for fans of the single dad trope like Ignite by Melanie Harlow.

This book was a solid ranch romance. I loved the twist that Dakota is a cowgirl/bull rider. I adored Wyatt, our sweet southern hockey gentleman (outside of the bedroom or shower). He was obsessed with Dakota but what was more moving was how great of a dad he was. Wyatt was really dedicated to putting in the work to get Dakota to see him in a new light, to be more than just friends. His intention was hot. I enjoyed seeing their relationship evolve. Neither wanted to change the other and just found that they really fit together. I enjoyed this book and recommend it for fans of Flawless by Elsie Silver.

Becka’s books are long af but her hockey romances never fail. The found family aspect of this series is top notch. The family that this group of friends has built is so beautiful. They are so supportive and loving. I enjoyed this book. Our sweet baby Jaxon who was really struggling with grief and self worth. (Don’t get me wrong he is also dirty af in bed) I loved seeing him grow and accept the good things in his life. He was an A+ boyfriend without even realizing he was one. Lennon really fell into this group perfectly and she fit right into Jaxon’s life. I really enjoyed watching their friendship and relationship develop. I recommend this for fans of hockey romances or roommate romances.

I didn’t dislike this book but I just could not get into the romance with these two. I just couldn’t see how the relationship was more than just sex. We never saw the character discussing anything to develop that meaningful connection. I wanted to see more of that emotional bond/foundation and it just wasn’t there.

This book is a good time! I really liked Burgess, talk about a man who is down bad crying in the gym. Tallulah has been through a lot and is learning to trust herself again. Burgess really puts in the work wooing her. That man is loud about his feelings. He also grovels like no other. I will say I felt like the conflict was a little out of character for him, I was expecting her to be the instigator of the 3rd act conflict. I recommend this for fans of Tessa’s writing (you have to enjoy her brand of out of pocket). I am very intrigued and excited for Sig and Chloe in the next book!

This book offers up a solid romantic suspense story. I liked Laney and Grant. I love how Grant was pissed at himself for being interested in her from the jump. I wish that the plot points surrounding Laney’s backstory were brought up sooner, even if just to the reader. It made the last 15% of the book or so feel a little rushed. Aside from that I liked that this book offered up a story of both characters saving themselves, moving on from their traumas, and building a new life with the one they love. This book also delivers up some spicy af scenes you might be feeling parched after. Honorable mention to the scenes with the brothers and Griz, they are a sweet family. I recommend this for fans of romantic suspense or an element of mystery.
