What a page turner! This book starts off with a bang (literally) and will have you unable to put it down equally because of the romance and the suspenseful plot. I just loved Davis and Dakota, they bring what the other needs out of the relationship. Davis is the perfect grumpy sweet thoughtful and extremely protective cowboy. Dakota is so strong and resilient. I loved how honest and vulnerable they were with each other. I appreciate that Davis is a man who does not want to waste his second chance at love and happiness. I feel also like the tougher topics were managed well and their impacts on the characters realistic. This is perfect for anyone looking for romantic suspense x cowboy vibes. Definitely recommend!

Another hit for Laura Pavlov! I enjoyed reading River and Ruby’s story. Sparks were flying from the start with their teasing banter. Like magnets they couldn’t stay apart and their relationship slowly progressed. Despite being two stubborn and independent characters River and Ruby opened up with one another. It was beautiful seeing their dynamic evolve as they started really understanding and seeing each other. I do wish they did a better job of honestly communicating their feelings. Honorable mention to the entire group- I just love the found family they created. I am super excited for the next book, the set up within this one has me chomping at the bit for the forbidden drama come! I recommend this if you’re looking for an enemies to friends with benefits to lovers vibe with a side of small town.

Looking for a book with the vibes of a fun 2000’s romcom movie? Read this one right here! I liked Max and Sophie they had a fun dynamic. The dual POVs delivered some  mutual pining and feelings that they both tried to ignore. They brought out an easiness in each other. The wedding objector plot was the perfect amount of quirky. Lynn really delivers on the kissing (and spicy scenes) and might have you looking for a new make out partner. I recommend this book if you want a lighthearted and fun romance.

Wow this book starts off with a bang (literally). Maren really delivered with this one, I liked it even more than Homerun Proposal. This book is offers up a perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Reese is just the sweetest and most supportive MMC. He has is down bad for our girl Vivienne. Reese just wants to take care of her and love on her. Vivienne is a tough nut to crack, she has those walls up steady but Reese really earns his place in her heart. The chemistry between these two is hot. The banter when they are “enemies” that quickly evolves into a friendship as roommates and then more. I didn’t want this book to end, I just enjoyed it that much. Sign me up for the rest of this series!

The Partner Plot by Kristina Forest

Did not finish book. Stopped at 71%.
I was really excited to read this book but unfortunately it fell flat for me. I didn’t dislike the writing but I just found myself not engaged in the story. I felt like the plot pacing was really slow. I just could not get myself to read the last 100 pages or so. I did like Xavier and Violet but they were not communicating with each other. Most of the book is their own thoughts which was frustrating as well.

Wow wow wow Alexandria really hit it out of the park with this one! This book is definitely her best work yet. I mean the banter in this one is too notch. Like you will be laughing and smiling along as you read because their energy is infectious, it leaps off the page. Speaking of their energy, this book is hot af. The spice really delivers because Truly and Colin are so supportive and deeply care for one another. My man Colin?! A sap, so kind but teasing, so patient but assertive. Kenergy all around. Truly is such a brave soul trying to be vulnerable despite her fears. I just adore these two individually and for each other. Honorable mention to Lulu (give our girl a book!) and the podcasting scenes. Everyone absolutely needs to read this book asap, you are missing out if you don’t!

Wow not only will this book have you enthralled in this love story but it will also have you craving the delicious foo it features! I really enjoyed this book. Honestly, it will make your heart ache (in a good way!). The feelings are big in this one- grief, fear, insecurity, love. Sage and Fisher really build each other back up and are so supportive. They each are on their one journeys of self growth but find a way to grow together. How they express themselves is quite beautiful. I think the spicy scenes are a degree hotter just because of Sage and Fisher’s deep emotional connection. Tarah please make this into a series, I desperately need a second chance romance between Ellis and Wren! I recommend this for fans of emotional small town romances.

What a cute short story about Huck and Cass! Huck is the sweetest baker with a slight edge. I honestly wish this story was a little bit longer so that the story could’ve played out a little more and have a more resolved ending.

Melanie never disappoints! I just love how her small town romances offer up a perfect mix of sweetness and spice. I loved Ari and Dash. They had a deep and supportive friendship. He was a man obsessed and they were clearly in love. I appreciate that despite being best friend’s brother there is no drama with them coupling up. Honorable mention to the scenes with the brothers and Veronica. If you love a small town romance you need to read this book!

Lyla Sage hit it out of the park with her sophomore release! Wes and Ada have my heart. This book totally gives off the vibes of Loving You on My Mind by Chris Stapleton. Wes is the sweetest and most supportive. He deeply cares about the people in his life. It hurt my heart that he only saw his value as being of service to his loved ones (but relatable). Ada was equally as relatable with her concerns around people tolerating her rather than liking her. They brought out the best in each other and really found ways to ground one another. I love the Ryder family they just warm my heart. This book both feels like a warm hug and offers up some great spicy scenes. If you are all for a cowboy romance you absolutely need to read this book!
