I love seeing more from the Aeslin mice perspective, and getting a rundown of how the clergy are called to their lines of worship was a lovely bit of storytelling.

Well those were unexpected tears! I'm glad to see a bit of Alice and Thomas' early story again, even if it's such a sad chapter.

It's really interesting to see Verity through Antimony's eyes, especially in a setting like Comic-Con. I would have loved for the story to go a little longer so I could see how things resolved, but it was still a solid bit of storytelling.

A quick look at the road trip home for Antimony and company, with a bonus sighting of Alice! It's always nice to see Buckley, even if just for a minute.

Hail! This is different from the rest of the series, but still in keeping with the feel of it. I'm so glad we got to see the brief epilogue, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next book holds.

This is a set-up book, which means there are lots of unanswered questions by the end. I'm impatient, so this will be hard to wait for the next book, but I look forward to seeing how things shake out next.

Verity's back! I loved seeing a take on So You Think You Can Dance, and all the drama backstage. The stakes are raised beautifully, though I'm not sure about the decision made at the end.

Dave, Dave, Dave. It's interesting to see how things played out from his point of view, and to get a glimpse into bogeyman family dynamics. I can almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

Cryptids and roller derby - two great things that work great together! It's nice seeing Antimony come into her own, as well.
